TOM & DONNA

Tom and Donna Hay started D&T Enterprises nearly 50 years ago out of their small home. In the 1970s, Tom was selling fasteners on the side to make ends meet. A mentor saw his dedication and hard work and encouraged him to go full-time, so he did. He went all in. And Donna was right there with him, keeping the finances and operations running smoothly (and keeping Tom in line when needed).

They spent long days and late nights building the business piece by piece. By the ’80s, they moved into a brick-and-mortar space and began building a team. They had one simple focus: treat people right, deliver what you promise, and do good work.

Today, that legacy lives on, not just in our products, but in the people we employ and the customers we serve.

a note from leadership

This all started with my parents at a kitchen table back in the ’70s. Dad stepped out in faith on a dream. They worked their tails off and, with God’s help, built something wildly successful. My wife and I getting to be part of that legacy is a huge blessing.

I pray every day that we put God first in all we do, trusting He’ll bless our fastener distribution company beyond what we can imagine. Life isn’t perfect (we’ve stumbled plenty), but I’ve seen God pick me up and set me right again. That’s the hope I want to bring to how we do business and how we show up for you.
